The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig

We have started our new books inspired by the traditional story, The 3 Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, and the alternative version by Eugene Trivizas, 

The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig. 

To remember the different materials the animals used in the two different versions, we made a house decorating each wall with a different material. 

Our boards are decorated with some of the most important words we are using in this unit:

Adventures in our Studio on Wheels

For some afternoon sessions during our unit on Georgia O'Keeffe, we created different maps for our "Georgiabot" adventures using Escornabots. We then wrote comics in our books about the different places the Georgiabot had visited and what she was thinking and feeling.
